Word From the Castle of Dresden

Happy Holidays Dragon Family

It's hard to believe our Christmas Break is already here. The end of the semester before the Christmas Break usually means snow and cold temperatures this time of year, as you know in Missouri the weather can change quickly.

At the start of the school year with safety as a priority and flexibility as a goal. Our students and staff have done an excellent job-making school safe and inviting under such uncertain circumstances.

As we begin the holiday season, I encourage you to reflect on the things and people who are truly important in your lives. It’s important for all of us to step back and put things into perspective and appreciate our blessings .

As we all grapple getting through what is hopefully the final months of this pandemic, we must express our gratitude. Your support, as parents and guardians, means the world to our educators. The positive messages and show of appreciation is what has kept us going through this challenging semester. We understand these teaching and learning conditions are not perfect for all students and families but we will continue to put forth our best effort.

This is a high travel time, so please be safe and take care of yourselves, your family, and friends. We’ll see you in 2021!

Sincerely,

Travis Moore

Superintendent

Pettis County R-XII
