Hello Dragon Families:
The Pettis County R-XII School Board voted last night to temporarily resume mask-wearing for all students and staff to begin the 2021-2022 school year. In addition, the federal government has mandated that students riding the bus must wear a mask to and from school. Mask-wearing will be reevaluated by the Board at the October 20th, 2021 Board meeting. At this time, masks must be worn inside the building except when a 3ft. distance can be maintained for teachers and students in their classroom, outdoor activities such as recess/P.E., and while eating breakfast or lunch.
We are still hosting the “Open House” on August 24th, but masks will be required. We hope to have a very safe start to the school year.
